International Olympiads Center was founded in 2019. We organize and get representation for organizing national and international Olympiads in our country, share information about them, and furthermore,  arrange many Olympiads ourselves. As an example we can state Ken-Ken Japanese logicOlympiad, Purple Comet! Math Meet!, OMO,HiMCM, The International Mathematical Modeling Challenge-IM2C, etc.

Up to now , nearly 4,000 students across the country have participated in our Olympiads. (National and international / online and traditional). At the same time, we are doing many things for the development of teachers in this direction in parallel with the students. For example, We have organized the 1st International training of the "International Olympiad Teachers" and the 1st “International summer trainings”. In total, we have trained more than 200 teachers regarding to the organization, models of assignments, formats of holding International Olympiads, etc.

At the same time, the main goal of the International Olympiads Center is to "find out  and develop all abilities and opportunities of gifted children" and also support Ministry of Science and Education Republic of Azerbaijan that implements a number of important work  with the talented students  as provided in the "State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan" by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 24, 2013.

The essential target of the center is to discover very talented students, to increase the interest of students in-depth study of subjects, to create conditions for students who are distinguished by their talent and high potential to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and to identify candidate students who will participate in International subject Olympiads. The center has been accredited on many international Olympiads. Extra preparations are organized for these Olympiads in the Center and all opportunities are created for students to participate in these Olympiads.

IN GENERAL

Republican science olympiads, science competitions and preparations for international olympiads are organized by the center. Preparations are conducted in the departments of Azerbaijan Russian and English, in the 2th, 3th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th grades  in the direction of Azerbaijani language, Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Biology and IT. The purpose of conducting the selection rounds is to provide support and proper guidance to potential students and holding special academic activities.

At the same time, the center has established and held new Olympiads as a result of many international collaborations since its inception. For instance, with the support of the "Embassy of Hungary in Baku", the international "John Von Neumann" Olympiad was founded and is organized every year. II summer international training of "International Olympiads Teachers" with the support of Baku-Korea cultural Center is also an example of our activity.

International Olympiads Center implements various projects for building a network (cooperation) between teachers of the central city and district (region) in a continuous mobile and operative manner, revealing the knowledge and skills of useful teachers and involving them in projects, providing support to teachers in need, and developing the processes related to the Olympiad in the regions.
